The (Slightly Condensed) Book of Peculiar Stories
Inspired by some of my favorite stories, I (re)designed covers for them, and placed them opposite quotes from the stories. I experimented with various different types of paper, and this was my first experiement with book binding.
For example:
"All children mythologize their birth. It is a universal trait. You want to know someone? Heart, mind and soul? Ask him to tell you about where he was born. What you get won't be the truth; it will be a story. And nothing is more telling than a story."
Turn the pages to interact and play with the pop up elements.
Uses paper cutting and folding techniques, and soft circuits.
